This Refund Policy explains how Lifestyle Vacation Clubs ("LVC," "we," "us," or "our") handles refunds for the LVC Vacation Package, monthly maintenance fees, and travel bookings made through our platform. Please read this policy carefully before making any purchases.

Lifestyle Vacation Clubs sells a $599 Vacation Package that includes one Getaway Vacation (a promotional resort stay requiring attendance at a brief resort presentation) and access to three Members-Only Vacations at wholesale rates through our booking portal. The package is sold exclusively through a personalized Zoom consultation — it is not a self-service purchase. The $599 fee pays for digital access to the LVC platform and its benefits. Travel bookings made through the platform are separate transactions fulfilled by third-party suppliers and resort partners. LVC does not own, operate, or directly fulfill travel accommodations.

By purchasing the LVC Vacation Package and using our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.

1. $599 Vacation Package Fee

1.1 Non-Refundable Purchase

The $599 Vacation Package is a one-time, non-refundable purchase. This is a digital access product — once your account is activated and portal access is granted, the service has been delivered. The package includes:

  • 1 Getaway Vacation — a promotional resort stay (attendance at a brief resort presentation is required)
  • 3 Members-Only Vacations — access to book through the LVC portal at wholesale rates
  • 2-year redemption window to use all included vacations

Because the $599 fee grants immediate access to the LVC platform, member-only pricing, and booking capabilities, no refunds are issued except as required by applicable law or in cases of processing error on our part.

1.2 Redemption Window

All vacations included in your package must be redeemed within 2 years of your purchase date. Unused vacations after the redemption window expires are forfeited and are not eligible for refund or credit.

2. $4.99/Month Maintenance Fee

2.1 Billing Schedule

The $4.99/month maintenance fee is billed automatically beginning 6 months after your purchase date. This fee covers continued access to the LVC platform, member-only rates, and booking capabilities.

2.2 Cancellation

  • You may cancel your monthly maintenance fee at any time through your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access to member benefits until the end of the paid period
  • No refunds are issued for partial months already billed
  • Upon cancellation, you will no longer have access to member-only rates or booking capabilities
  • Cancellation of the monthly fee does not entitle you to a refund of the $599 package fee

3. Getaway Vacation Bookings

3.1 Cancellation Policy

Getaway Vacation bookings are subject to the cancellation policy of the specific resort. Cancellation terms vary by property but are typically cancellable 30 or more days before check-in. Resort fees and taxes may be non-refundable depending on the resort's policies. Specific cancellation terms are provided at the time of booking.

3.2 Presentation Requirement

Getaway Vacations are offered at deeply discounted promotional rates contingent upon attendance at a brief sales presentation hosted by the resort partner. If you book a Getaway Vacation and fail to attend the required resort presentation, the resort may charge you the full rack rate for your stay. LVC is not responsible for additional charges imposed by resorts due to non-attendance. This requirement is clearly disclosed prior to booking and is a condition of the promotional pricing.

3.3 Resort-Specific Terms

Each Getaway Vacation is subject to the specific terms and conditions set by the resort partner, including but not limited to: age requirements, marital status requirements, income requirements, geographic restrictions, and identification requirements. These terms are provided at the time of booking and are the responsibility of the resort, not LVC.

3.4 Date Changes and Modifications

Date changes or modifications to Getaway Vacation bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Contact us at least 14 days before your scheduled arrival to request modifications.

4. Members-Only Vacation Bookings

4.1 Third-Party Supplier Bookings

Members-Only Vacations are booked through the LVC portal and fulfilled by third-party travel suppliers. These bookings are governed entirely by the third-party supplier's cancellation and refund policy, which is displayed during the booking process.

4.2 Refund Responsibility

LVC does not process refunds for third-party bookings. If you need to cancel or modify a Members-Only Vacation booking, you must contact the supplier directly. Refund eligibility, timelines, and amounts are determined solely by the supplier's policies.

4.3 No-Show Policy

If you fail to check in for a confirmed reservation without proper cancellation, you will be charged in accordance with the supplier's no-show policy. No refunds will be issued for no-show reservations.

5. Special Circumstances

5.1 Hardship Exceptions

While the $599 package fee is non-refundable, LVC may consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis for documented hardship situations, including:

  • Documented medical emergency — serious illness or hospitalization preventing travel
  • Military deployment — active duty orders received after purchase
  • Natural disaster — affecting the travel destination and making the trip impossible

Supporting documentation is required for all hardship exception requests. Exceptions are granted at LVC's sole discretion and may take the form of credits, extensions, or partial refunds.

5.2 Service Errors

If LVC makes an error in processing your booking or account, we will work with you to resolve the issue. This may include refunds, credits, or re-booking at no additional cost, at our discretion.

5.3 Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.), refund policies may be adjusted on a case-by-case basis. We will work with affected members to find reasonable solutions, which may include:

  • Rebooking at a later date with no penalties
  • Travel credits for future use
  • Extension of the 2-year redemption window
  • Refunds where possible, subject to third-party provider policies

5.4 Fraudulent Activity

Accounts suspected of fraudulent activity will be immediately suspended pending investigation. No refunds will be issued for packages or bookings associated with fraudulent accounts.

We maintain detailed records of all transactions, consultations, account activations, and portal access — and we are committed to resolving billing concerns quickly and fairly. In most cases, we can resolve your concern within 3-5 business days.

7.2 Consequences of Unwarranted Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with LVC may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account and all associated member benefits
  • Cancellation of all pending bookings and vacation packages
  • Permanent ineligibility for future LVC membership
  • Pursuit of all available legal remedies to recover costs, including chargeback fees assessed by payment processors

7.3 Chargeback Documentation

LVC will provide complete documentation to dispute unwarranted chargebacks, including records of: the Zoom consultation during which the purchase was made, account activation confirmations, portal access logs, booking activity, and all communications. The $599 package is a digital access product — once your account is activated and portal access is granted, the service has been fully delivered.
